Courses and resources
Whether you are interested in discussing the meaning of life, or you’d like to share a cup of tea and a craft project, we might have a course for you.
Alpha – learn about the meaning of life Hearts and Hands – for women to work on craft projects and share friendship Marriage Course – build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime
St John’s also runs a series of core courses which covers:
- Discovering my maturity – Core habits of an effective Christian
- Discovering my ministry – What are my spiritual gifts? How does my ministry fit with who God has made me to be?
- Discovering my mission – how can I be confident in sharing my faith story with others?
Learning is a big part of the St John’s community. Most members take part in small groups in which they discuss topics and themes from our sermon series, and children too have a chance to learn through our Kids@10 program.
For those who are looking for a higher level of theological training, we encourage study at Ridley College or other theological colleges.
